Trans World in Las Vegas

Transworld is a haunted attraction and costume convention where all the vendors for all sorts of halloween and party related products come together and buyers attend to purchase their products for the next season. This event is usually held in Chicago every year but this year they held it in Las Vegas. Since it was closer we decided to attend. It was at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas. The show ran Sun-Wed. We few in to Vegas Sunday afternoon. We stayed at the Mirage Hotel which is acrosss the street from the Venitian which has the Sands Convention center right behind it.

After checking into the hotel we went to dinner at a Indian Food resturant at the Rio. Chris wasn't feeling well after dinner so went to bed early. I stayed up for a while and played poker for a few hours. Doubled my money. We got up early Monday and order room service breakfast and then headed to the show. We waited in line until the doors opened at 9:30am. We walked around the Haunted Attraction area which was pretty small and then took a look at the vast display of costume and party vendors before going to lunch with our friends from Alaska Sam and Michelle. We decided not to go back to the hotel after a long lunch and we just hung out at the Mirage doing a little gambling. We just hung around the Hotel casino on Tuesday. I play poker and chris played slots. We attended a memorial service at a park tuesday at dusk for a son of some good friends of ours. We packed up and left Wednesday morning and got home mid afternoon.

It was a short trip and we really just went to spend some time in Vegas and meet up with some halloween friends. We saw what we wanted to of Transworld and hadn't planned on buying anything anyway but did get some good ideas.
