We had 12 students make 6 mourner monuments this weekend. Each pair of students worked on a single monument. We had prebuilt the basic wood frame for each of them to start with. On Saturday they glued all the foam to the base and added chicken wire and bubble wrap to the the main frame and then using monster mud worked with cotton sheets to make the shroud. They came back late sunday and painted them and then took a long lunch break and then returned and detail painted them and aged them. They all turned out fantastic.

Always teasing us East Coasters, damn you! Those came out great! Are the hands wax castings or something else?
Those are awesome! What a great opportunity you offer - wish I lived closer!
